Achham 2 (constituency)
Achham 2 is a parliamentary constituency in Nepal. It represents one of the two constituencies in the Achham District. This constituency elects a member to the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal, through the first-past-the-post system. The constituency was established in 2017, in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, which restructured the parliamentary constituencies. Prior to the 2017 election, Achham District had only one constituency. Electoral boundaries are subject to change based on population data and redistricting efforts conducted periodically by the Election Commission of Nepal. Voters in Achham 2 elect their representative from a pool of candidates nominated by various political parties, as well as independent candidates. The election results are officially declared by the Election Commission, and the elected member serves a five-year term in Parliament, unless the parliament is dissolved prematurely.
