A29 motorway (Greece)

The A29 motorway (also referred to as Motorway 29 or Greek National Road 29) is a branch of the A2 Egnatia Odos motorway in northern Greece. It connects the A2 near Koulouri with the city of Kastoria and the Greek–Albanian border crossing at Kristallopigi.

The motorway is relatively short compared to the main A2 route, serving primarily to connect the region of Kastoria with the national motorway network and facilitate trade and travel to and from Albania. Construction of the A29 was completed in stages, improving transportation infrastructure in a historically less accessible part of Greece.

The A29 is a modern, dual carriageway motorway, contributing to reduced travel times and improved road safety in the area. It plays a significant role in regional economic development and tourism.
