2010 World Open (snooker)

The 2010 World Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place from September 19 to 26, 2010, at the SECC in Glasgow, Scotland. It was the first ranking snooker tournament held in Scotland since the 2003 Scottish Open.

The tournament featured a revised format from previous World Open iterations. Instead of a traditional knockout bracket, the initial stages involved a round-robin group stage, with the top players from each group progressing to the knockout phase. This change was designed to provide greater exposure for more players.

Neil Robertson won the tournament, defeating Ronnie O'Sullivan 5–1 in the final. It was Robertson's third ranking title.
