Özbilgin
Özbilgin is a Turkish surname. It is derived from the combination of two Turkish words: "öz" meaning "self, essence, true nature" and "bilgin" meaning "scholar, wise person, learned person". Therefore, the surname Özbilgin can be interpreted as "a wise person in their own right," "a scholar with inner understanding," or "one who knows oneself deeply." Surnames in Turkey were officially adopted in 1934 with the Surname Law.
