Ye Wanyong (China)

Ye Wanyong (Chinese: 葉萬勇; pinyin: Yè Wànyǒng) (born 1957) is a Chinese businessman and engineer. He is best known as the former Chairman and CEO of China Mobile, the world's largest mobile network operator by subscribers. He held various leadership positions within China Mobile prior to becoming Chairman and CEO. His tenure as CEO saw significant growth in the company's subscriber base and its expansion into new technologies, including 5G. He is also an engineer by training and has contributed to the development of China's telecommunications infrastructure.
