Wołkuny

Wołkuny is a village located in northern Poland, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, within the Kętrzyn County, in the Barciany Commune. The village is situated approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) north of Barciany, 22 kilometers (14 miles) north of Kętrzyn, and 88 kilometers (55 miles) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Historically, the area was part of East Prussia. After World War II, it became part of Poland. The village is primarily agricultural. Population figures are generally low and reflect a typical rural community in the region.
