Wiyaala
Wiyaala (Noella Wiyaala) is a Ghanaian Afro-pop singer-songwriter who sings in her native Sissala and Waala dialects, as well as English. Known for her powerful voice and energetic stage presence, Wiyaala blends traditional African rhythms and melodies with contemporary pop, rock, and dance elements.
Wiyaala gained national recognition as a finalist on the Ghanaian reality TV show Stars of the Future in 2011. She subsequently pursued a solo career, releasing her self-titled debut album in 2013.
Her music often addresses social issues, particularly those affecting women and children in Ghana and across Africa. She is a vocal advocate for female empowerment and gender equality.
