Willy Rasmussen (Danish athlete)

Willy Rasmussen (born October 16, 1937, died 2018) was a Danish athlete who competed primarily in the javelin throw. He represented Denmark at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, where he finished 19th. He also participated in several European Championships. Rasmussen was a multiple-time Danish national champion in the javelin throw. His personal best was 86.66 meters, achieved in 1962. After his athletic career, he remained involved in track and field as a coach.
