William North (cricketer)

William North (dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Hampshire in 1871.

North's batting style and bowling style are unknown. He played one first-class match for Hampshire, against Surrey at The Oval. In this match, he scored 0 in the first innings, being dismissed by George Wells, and 12 in the second innings, being dismissed by Tom Emmett. Hampshire lost the match by an innings and 124 runs. This was his only known first-class appearance.
