William Moorcroft (cricketer)
William Moorcroft was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1905 and 1906.
Moorcroft made his debut for Derbyshire in the 1905 season against Lancashire, when he scored 21 and 3. He played eight matches that season, achieving his top score of 23 against Essex. In the 1906 season, he played three matches, making his last appearance against Lancashire in a return fixture.
Moorcroft was a right-handed batsman and played 11 innings in 11 first-class matches, with a top score of 23 and an average of 8.72. He did not bowl.
