William Irvine (bishop)
William Irvine (died 1458) was a medieval Scottish prelate. He served as Bishop of Glasgow from 1454 until his death in 1458.
Irvine was elected to the bishopric following the death of John Stewart of Dundonald. He received royal provision to the see on 12 July 1454. He was consecrated, likely in the autumn of the same year. His episcopate was brief, lasting only around four years. Details of his activities as bishop are scant, though like other bishops of his time he was involved in the administration of the diocese and would have attended parliament. He died in 1458 and was succeeded by Andrew Stewart.
