Wibtoft

Wibtoft is a small village and civil parish in the Rugby borough of Warwickshire, England. It is located near the border with Leicestershire, approximately 7 miles northeast of Rugby.

The name "Wibtoft" is believed to be derived from Old English, possibly meaning "Wigbald's homestead" or "Wigbald's toft."

Historically, Wibtoft was an agricultural community. Today, it remains a small rural settlement with a limited number of residents and services.

Wibtoft is situated near Watling Street, a historic Roman road that runs through Britain. The A5 road now follows the general course of Watling Street in this area.
