The station's license was held by Communicast, Inc. WBZV's license was cancelled by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on January 27, 2012, due to failure to file an application for license renewal. It primarily served the greater Philadelphia area. The transmitter location was near Huntingdon Valley.
