Norm Brown (baseball)
Norman "Norm" Brown (born January 3, 1951) is a former professional baseball player. Brown was an outfielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1977 to 1985.
He played for the Philadelphia Phillies (1977-1981), Toronto Blue Jays (1982), California Angels (1983-1984), and St. Louis Cardinals (1985).
Brown was primarily known for his power hitting. In his career, he hit 64 home runs in 525 games. His best season was 1982 with the Blue Jays, where he hit 14 home runs in 89 games. He was a valuable role player as a designated hitter and outfielder.
