Valkyrja (album)
Valkyrja is the eighth full-length studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth. It was released in 2013 on Metal Blade Records. The album's title refers to the Valkyries, female figures in Norse mythology who choose who will live and die in battle and escort the chosen dead to Valhalla.
