Unsolved (American TV series)

Unsolved is an American true crime anthology television series that premiered on USA Network on February 27, 2018. The series explores the unsolved murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., offering two different timelines and perspectives: the initial investigations and a later investigation decades later.

The first season, subtitled Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., focuses on the police investigations led by Detectives Greg Kading and Russell Poole. The series stars Josh Duhamel as Detective Greg Kading, Jimmi Simpson as Detective Russell Poole, and Bokeem Woodbine as Detective Daryn Dupree. It also features Marcc Rose and Wavyy Jonez portraying Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., respectively.

The narrative unfolds through flashbacks to the 1990s, recreating the environment and events surrounding the murders. It explores various theories and potential suspects involved in the deaths of the two iconic rappers, showcasing the complexities and obstacles faced by law enforcement during their investigations.

The series was created by Kyle Long and received mixed to positive reviews.
