USS Barnstable
The name USS Barnstable refers to two ships of the United States Navy, both named after Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

USS Barnstable (APA-93): A Bayfield-class attack transport that served during World War II. She participated in several amphibious landings in the Pacific Theater, including the invasions of Leyte, Luzon, and Okinawa. After the war, she participated in Operation Magic Carpet, returning American troops from overseas. She was decommissioned in 1946.

USS Barnstable County (LST-1197): A Newport-class tank landing ship (LST). She was commissioned in 1971 and served for over 20 years, participating in various operations and exercises. She was decommissioned in 1994 and transferred to the Maritime Administration (MARAD) for reserve.
