Twisted (TV series)

Twisted is an American teen drama mystery-thriller television series that premiered on ABC Family (now Freeform) on March 19, 2013. The series follows Danny Desai (played by Avan Jogia), a charismatic 16-year-old with a dark and troubled past. Having been incarcerated for five years for murdering his aunt when he was 11, Danny unexpectedly returns to his hometown and attempts to reconnect with his two childhood best friends, Jo Masterson (Maddie Hasson) and Lacey Porter (Kylie Bunbury).

The series focuses on Danny's efforts to prove he's rehabilitated and innocent of further crimes, while simultaneously navigating the complexities of high school life, dealing with the town's prejudice against him, and uncovering the truth behind his aunt's murder and subsequent mysteries that arise.
