Track of the Cat (album)
Track of the Cat is a 1975 album by the American rock band Quicksilver Messenger Service. It marked a significant shift in the band's sound, moving away from their psychedelic roots and towards a more polished, commercially-oriented rock style. It was their ninth studio album. The album featured Dino Valenti's return to the band after a period of absence, and his influence is evident in the songwriting and overall direction of the record. While the album achieved moderate commercial success, it was not as critically acclaimed as some of their earlier work. Key tracks on the album include "He's a Rebel" and the title track, "Track of the Cat."
