Torment (2013 film)
Torment is a 2013 Canadian horror film directed by Jordan Barker and written by Michael Foster and Thomas Pound. The film stars Katharine Isabelle, Robin Dunne, Peter DaCunha, and Melanie Nicholls-King.
Torment centers on Cory Morgan (Robin Dunne) and Sarah Morgan (Katharine Isabelle), a newlywed couple who decide to take Cory's son, Liam (Peter DaCunha), to their secluded country home for some quality time. Liam is still struggling with the death of his mother. The family's retreat is disrupted when they are terrorized by a strange, masked family of intruders. As the night progresses, Cory and Sarah must fight to protect themselves and Liam from the relentless and brutal attacks of the intruders, uncovering a dark and disturbing motive behind their actions. The film explores themes of grief, trauma, and the lengths to which people will go to protect their family.
