Tony Sheldon (politician)

Tony Sheldon is an Australian politician. He served as a Labor member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 2011 to 2023. Prior to his parliamentary career, Sheldon was a prominent trade union official, serving as the National Secretary of the Transport Workers' Union (TWU) of Australia. In the Legislative Council, he served on various committees and focused on issues related to transport, workers' rights, and industrial relations. He did not re-contest his seat in the 2023 New South Wales election.
