To the Hilt (album)

To the Hilt is a 1993 studio album by American country music artist Clint Black. It was released on April 27, 1993, as his fourth album for RCA Records. The album produced four singles: "No Time to Kill", "State of Mind", "When I Said I Do" (a duet with Black's then-wife, Lisa Hartman Black), and "Tuckered Out". "No Time to Kill" was the only single to reach number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, with the others all reaching the Top 5.

The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA for sales of over one million copies in the United States. It maintains a generally positive reception, with critics often praising the songwriting and Black's continued consistency within the country music landscape of the early 1990s. Some reviews, however, noted a degree of sameness to his previous work.
