The Squeaker (1931 film)

The Squeaker is a 1931 British crime film directed by Walter Forde. It is based on the 1927 novel of the same name by Edgar Wallace. The film stars Stewart Rome, Gordon Harker, and Cyril McLaglen.

The plot centers around a notorious informant, known only as "The Squeaker," who is terrorizing London's underworld by betraying criminals to the police. A dedicated police detective, Inspector Barrabal, is tasked with uncovering the Squeaker's identity and bringing him to justice. The investigation leads Barrabal through a maze of suspects and dangerous situations, including encounters with gangsters and double-crossers.
