Kakopoda
Kakopoda (from Greek κακός "bad" and ποδός "foot") is a term sometimes used, primarily in informal settings within invertebrate zoology, to refer to a hypothetical or satirical group of animals possessing an excessive number of legs, or legs that are malformed or non-functional. The term is not a formally recognized taxonomic classification and does not represent a real clade within the animal kingdom. It is often employed humorously to describe or imagine creatures that defy typical arthropod body plans, particularly those related to myriapods (centipedes and millipedes) or insects. The usage implies an absurdity related to leg number or function, suggesting a biological impracticality or evolutionary disadvantage.
