Carlos Calvo (footballer, born 1985)
Carlos Calvo Sobrado (born September 18, 1985) is a Spanish footballer who plays primarily as a right winger.
Calvo began his professional career with Real Valladolid, appearing for their B team. He made his debut for the first team in La Liga during the 2005-2006 season. He then played for Elche CF in the Segunda División, where he became a regular starter. Following his time at Elche, he joined Xerez CD, also in the Segunda División.
Subsequent to his time in Spain, Calvo played for several clubs internationally. He has played in countries such as Romania, Poland, and Thailand. Throughout his career, Calvo has typically been known for his pace and crossing ability on the right wing. He has also sometimes been deployed as a forward.
