The Invisible Woman (1969 film)
The Invisible Woman is a 1969 Italian science fiction comedy film directed by Paolo Spinola. The film stars Sylva Koscina as Doky, an astronaut who develops the power of invisibility after being exposed to cosmic rays during a space mission. She returns to Earth and becomes involved with a hapless secret agent, played by Rossano Brazzi, and uses her newfound abilities to assist him in his missions and fight crime. The film is also known under the titles The Venus Ray Returns and Miss. In Visible. It blends elements of spy films, superhero narratives, and comedic situations. The special effects, particularly those depicting invisibility, were considered relatively advanced for the time. The film received limited international release and is not particularly well-known today.
