The Confession (band)
The Confession was an American Christian metalcore band formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 2007. The band's final lineup consisted of vocalist Josh Collingsworth, guitarists Shawn Willett and Tyler Gulett, bassist Jake Burgess, and drummer Zach Dawson.
The Confession released several EPs and full-length albums throughout their career, often exploring themes of faith, struggle, and redemption within their lyrics. They were known for their heavy sound, characterized by aggressive breakdowns, soaring melodies, and dual-guitar harmonies.
The band toured extensively both nationally and internationally, sharing the stage with prominent acts within the metalcore and Christian metal scenes. The Confession officially disbanded in 2014.
