The College Widow (1915 film)

The College Widow is a 1915 American silent comedy film directed by Barry O'Neil and starring Ethel Clayton, Zena Keefe, and Franklin Blaisdell. The film is based on the 1904 Broadway play of the same name by George Ade. The plot revolves around the daughter of the president of a small college who is pursued by the star football player from a rival school. She uses her influence to ensure the rival player doesn't academically qualify, giving her father's college an advantage in the big game. The film is considered a lost film, as no known prints survive.
