Javid Taghiyev (footballer)

Javid Taghiyev (Azerbaijani: Cavid Tağıyev; born July 22, 1981) is an Azerbaijani former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

He spent the majority of his career playing in the Azerbaijan Premier League for clubs such as Qarabağ, Inter Baku (later known as Inter Baku PIK), and AZAL.

Taghiyev was also a member of the Azerbaijan national football team, earning caps over several years. He primarily played as a central or defensive midfielder.
