Terry Walsh (footballer)
Terry Walsh (born 18 May 1943) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward.
Walsh began his career with Millwall, where he made his professional debut in 1961. He spent six years with the club, making over 150 league appearances and becoming a popular figure with the fans. His goalscoring record at Millwall attracted attention from other clubs.
In 1967, Walsh moved to Tottenham Hotspur for a reported fee of £50,000. However, his time at Tottenham was less successful, and he struggled to break into the first team on a regular basis. He made only a handful of appearances before being transferred.
Walsh subsequently joined Fulham in 1968. He enjoyed a more productive spell at Craven Cottage, contributing to the team's performances and scoring a number of goals.
Later in his career, Walsh played for Charlton Athletic and Brentford, further demonstrating his ability as a seasoned professional. He also had a spell in South Africa with Durban City.
After retiring from professional football, Walsh remained involved in the sport at a local level. He is remembered as a hardworking and versatile forward who made a significant contribution to several clubs during his career.
