Boreas (journal)

Boreas is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. It covers research in quaternary geology, paleoclimatology, paleoecology, and related fields. The journal was established in 1972. Its focus lies primarily on the northern hemisphere, particularly Scandinavia and the North Atlantic region, but articles from other areas are also considered. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications.
