Temple Beth-El (Pensacola, Florida)

Temple Beth-El is a historic Reform Jewish congregation located in Pensacola, Florida. Established in 1876, it is one of the oldest Jewish congregations in the state. The synagogue building, located at 800 North Palafox Street, is a notable example of Moorish Revival architecture.

The congregation's early history is intertwined with the growth of the Jewish community in Pensacola during the late 19th century. Originally meeting in private homes and rented spaces, the congregation constructed its first permanent synagogue building in 1889.
