Geography:

Tafilah is situated in a mountainous region, approximately 183 kilometers (114 miles) south of Amman. The terrain surrounding the city is characterized by rugged hills and valleys, typical of the Jordanian highlands. History:

The region encompassing Tafilah has a long and rich history, with evidence of human settlement dating back to ancient times.
