St. Luke's Episcopal Church (Atlanta)

St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1864 during the American Civil War, it is one of the oldest Episcopal parishes in the city.

Initially meeting in various locations, the church eventually constructed its first permanent building on Spring Street. As the congregation grew, a larger building was needed. The current church building, a notable example of Gothic Revival architecture, was completed in 1906 on Peachtree Street. The architect was noted church architect, Ralph Adams Cram, of the firm Cram, Goodhue & Ferguson.

Over the years, St. Luke's has played an important role in the religious and cultural life of Atlanta. It continues to be an active and engaged parish within the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta.
