Vyžuonos
Vyžuonos is a town in Utena County, Lithuania. It is the administrative center of the Vyžuonos eldership (seniūnija). Located about 18 kilometers (11 miles) southeast of Utena, Vyžuonos is situated on the Vyžuona River. The town's history dates back to the 14th century. It is known for its wooden Church of Saint Michael the Archangel, a significant example of folk architecture. The town also features a school, a post office, and several local businesses. The surrounding area is predominantly agricultural.
