Spice World (video game)

Spice World is a PlayStation video game based on the British pop group, the Spice Girls, and their film Spice World. The game was developed by SCE Cambridge Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 1998.

The gameplay consists of a series of mini-games that reflect different aspects of the Spice World movie, often involving tasks such as finding lost items, performing on stage, or navigating various challenges. Players can choose to play as any of the five Spice Girls: Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice, Scary Spice, and Posh Spice. Each Spice Girl has their own unique special move that can assist the player within the mini-games.

Spice World generally received negative reviews upon release. Critics often cited repetitive gameplay, poor graphics, and a lack of depth as major shortcomings. Some reviewers also criticized the game for being overly simplistic and primarily aimed at a very young audience. Despite the critical reception, the game sold relatively well due to the Spice Girls' widespread popularity at the time.
