Soldier of Love (album)

Soldier of Love is the sixth studio album by English band Sade, released on February 5, 2010, in Germany, February 8, 2010, in the United Kingdom, and February 9, 2010, in the United States. It was Sade's first studio album in ten years, following 2000's Lovers Rock.

The album was highly anticipated and marked a return to a more experimental and atmospheric sound, while still retaining Sade's signature smooth jazz and R&B influences. Themes explored in the album include love, loss, war, and hope.

"Soldier of Love", the title track, was released as the lead single in December 2009 and became a success, reaching number one on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart. Other singles released from the album include "Babyfather" and "The Moon and the Sky".
