Sky Hawk (manga)

Sky Hawk is a historical manga series written and illustrated by Tsutomu Takahashi. Set in 19th-century Japan during the final years of the Tokugawa shogunate, the story revolves around Mibu Kyoshiro, a young samurai who becomes entangled in the political turmoil and violence that preceded the Meiji Restoration.

Kyoshiro is a skilled swordsman, haunted by a tragic past. He joins the Roshigumi, a special police force ostensibly formed to protect the shogun, but soon finds himself caught between warring factions within the group, including those loyal to the shogunate and those who seek to overthrow it.
