Skipper Roberts (baseball)
Skipper Roberts (born c. 1950) is a former professional baseball pitcher. Roberts played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres in 1975.
Roberts was drafted by the Padres in the 5th round of the 1972 MLB draft. He made his major league debut on July 6, 1975, and appeared in a total of 12 games for the Padres that season, all in relief. He had a 0-1 record with a 4.76 ERA in 17 innings pitched. Roberts did not appear in another major league game after the 1975 season.
