Richard Gunn (actor)

Richard Gunn (born May 5, 1975) is an American actor known for his roles in television. He is most recognized for his portrayal of Kyle, a seemingly demonic but ultimately sympathetic character, in the Fox television series Angel, a spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Gunn was born in Highland Park, Illinois. Prior to his role on Angel, he appeared in various television shows and films, often in smaller roles.

Following Angel, Gunn continued to work in television, appearing in series such as Dark Angel, Judging Amy, Veronica Mars, Bones, Dexter, CSI: NY, NCIS, and Granite Flats. He has also worked in independent films.

Gunn is often typecast in roles that require physical presence, due to his height and build. However, he has demonstrated an ability to portray a range of characters, from menacing figures to characters with hidden depths and vulnerabilities.
