Singles (TV series)
Singles is a British television sitcom that aired on ITV from 1988 to 1992. Created by John Flanagan and Andrew McCulloch, the series follows the lives of three single men, John, Peter, and Dave, living in a flat together in Liverpool.
The show's humor revolves around the men's attempts to find girlfriends, their awkward social interactions, and the everyday situations they encounter. Each character had a distinct personality: John was portrayed as somewhat naive and unlucky in love, Peter was more confident and often pursued women aggressively, and Dave was the more laid-back and cynical of the three.
Singles featured regular appearances from various female characters who acted as potential romantic interests for the main characters. The series explored themes of friendship, relationships, and the challenges of navigating single life in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The cast included Roger Blake as John, Simon Greenall as Peter, and Steven Pinder as Dave.
