Shibata Station (Aichi)
Shibata Station (柴田駅, Shibata-eki) is a railway station on the Tokoname Line and Kōwa Line of the Meitetsu Railway in Minami-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
The station consists of two island platforms serving four tracks. It is an elevated station. The platforms are numbered 1 through 4. Platforms 1 and 2 serve the Tokoname Line, while Platforms 3 and 4 serve the Kōwa Line.
The station is a staffed station and offers limited express services. It's a popular station for those commuting between Nagoya and areas further south on the Chita Peninsula.
The area surrounding Shibata Station is largely residential, with local shops and businesses nearby. It provides convenient access to local schools and parks.
