Sea World (Shenzhen)
Sea World (Shenzhen), also known as Minghua Sea World (明华世界) is a large leisure and entertainment complex located in Shekou, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Developed around the decommissioned French cruise ship Minghua, it has become a prominent landmark and tourist destination.
The Minghua, originally named Ancerville, was purchased and transformed into the centerpiece of Sea World. The ship houses a hotel, restaurants, and shops, offering a unique experience for visitors. Surrounding the Minghua is a plaza featuring various dining options, bars, retail outlets, and performance spaces. A musical fountain show, integrated with lighting effects, is a regular attraction.
Sea World (Shenzhen) is considered a hub for international residents and tourists due to its diverse culinary offerings and vibrant nightlife. The area is well-connected to the rest of Shenzhen via the Shenzhen Metro, enhancing its accessibility.
