Scott Martin (Pennsylvania politician)
Scott Martin is a Republican politician from Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a Pennsylvania State Senator for the 13th District, which includes parts of Lancaster County.
Martin was first elected to the State Senate in a special election held in 2016, succeeding Lloyd Smucker, who was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served as a Lancaster County Commissioner for nine years.
During his time in the State Senate, Martin has focused on issues such as fiscal responsibility, job creation, and education reform. He has been a strong advocate for property tax reform and has supported legislation aimed at reducing government spending. He has also been involved in efforts to improve Pennsylvania's business climate.
