Scoob!
Scoob! is a 2020 American computer-animated adventure comedy film produced by Warner Animation Group and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is based on the Scooby-Doo franchise created by Hanna-Barbera. The film is a reboot of the live-action Scooby-Doo film series and serves as the first theatrical film in the franchise since 2004's Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
The film tells the origin story of Mystery Incorporated, detailing how Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers first met and how they teamed up with Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, and Velma Dinkley to solve mysteries. The main plot involves the team facing a threat from Dick Dastardly, who is trying to unleash Cerberus, a three-headed dog, upon the world.
Scoob! features the voices of Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo (his only time voicing the character in a theatrical film), Will Forte as Shaggy Rogers, Zac Efron as Fred Jones, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne Blake, Gina Rodriguez as Velma Dinkley, and Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly.
The film was originally scheduled for a theatrical release but was released on video on demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It received mixed reviews from critics.
