Sarge (album)
Sarge is the third studio album by American alternative rock band Shellac. It was released in 1998 on Touch and Go Records. Like all of Shellac's albums, Sarge was recorded by Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studio in Chicago.
The album consists of eight tracks and is characterized by Shellac's signature minimalist, angular, and repetitive style. Known for its raw production and unconventional song structures, Sarge continues the band's exploration of noise rock, post-hardcore, and experimental music.
