Sam Narron (pitcher)

Sam Narron (born January 25, 1975, in Goldsboro, North Carolina) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers in 2003.

Narron was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 10th round of the 1996 MLB Draft. Before reaching the major leagues, he played in the minor league systems of the Orioles, Montreal Expos, and Texas Rangers organizations.

Narron's major league debut came on July 1, 2003, for the Texas Rangers. He appeared in 12 games as a relief pitcher, pitching a total of 14.1 innings. He finished his MLB career with an 0-0 record and a 7.53 ERA.

He is a member of the Narron family, known for its involvement in baseball. His uncle, Jerry Narron, is a former MLB player and manager.
