SM U-10 (Germany)
SM U-10 was a German Type U 9 U-boat built for the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) during World War I. She was commissioned on April 18, 1911, and served in the North Sea and English Channel.
U-10 was primarily engaged in patrols and commerce raiding. She is credited with sinking 8 ships and damaging one more during her service. These included both enemy warships and merchant vessels belonging to Allied nations.
Notably, on March 21, 1915, U-10 was sunk in the North Sea near Terschelling, Netherlands. The sinking was attributed to the British destroyer HMS Ariel. There were no survivors from the U-10.
