Rupture is a 2016 American science fiction horror film directed by Steven Shainberg and starring Noomi Rapace. The film follows Renee Morgan, a single mother who is abducted and subjected to a series of bizarre experiments.
Plot Synopsis:
Renee Morgan is a single mother living a fairly normal life. One day, she is kidnapped and wakes up strapped to a gurney in a strange laboratory. She is subjected to a series of disturbing and invasive experiments by her captors, who are interested in a genetic anomaly they believe she possesses. Through the experiments, Renee begins to experience physical and psychological transformations, suggesting a significant change within her. She eventually learns that she is part of a group of individuals who are being studied for their potential to evolve into something beyond human. The film centers on Renee's fight for survival and her desperate attempt to escape the facility while uncovering the truth behind her abduction and the nature of the experiments.
