Paddington North (UK Parliament constituency)
Paddington North was a parliamentary constituency in the Metropolitan Borough of Paddington, in London. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
History:
The constituency was created in 1885, by the division of the earlier Paddington constituency. It comprised the northern part of the borough. It was abolished for the 1918 general election, when it was merged into the new constituency of Paddington North.
A new constituency named Paddington North was created in 1950, replacing the previous Paddington constituency. It was abolished in 1974.
